Biography:
Weapon X is a designation used for multiple subjects within the Weapon X Program in Marvel Comics. However, it is most commonly associated with Logan, later known as Wolverine.
His initial transformation into Weapon X involved being abducted and subjected to excruciating experiments. His skeleton was bonded with Adamantium, an virtually indestructible metal. This augmentation enhanced his already existing mutant healing factor and heightened senses, making him a formidable killing machine.
Due to the traumatic nature of the experiments, Wolverine endured significant memory loss and psychological manipulation. His aggression and animalistic tendencies were amplified, making him difficult to control. This process was depicted in Marvel Comics Presents #72 as well as explored throughout his various appearances.
